Binders
Feed Chem offer a broad range of organic and inorganic mould and core binder systems. Organic binders are almost exclusively synthetic resins, which are cured by he addition of a separate hardener or catalyst. Inorganic binders are based on sodium silicates that have been optimised to accommodate the varying casting processes, thus guaranteeing best performance.
Coatings
Feedchem’s sand mould and core coating products help foundry operators achieve the best available casting surface finishes at the highest possible level of operational efficiency. The range of products has been specifically engineered so that they can be applied by dipping, flow coating, brushing, swabbing and spraying.
Coal Seam Powder
Used in the dry sand and greensand moulding process coal protects mould surface against molten metal action. While the metal comes in contact with the mould surface having coal dust, a steamy envelope is created that fights against the fusion of metal and sand.
